My name is István Kornél Vida, I am an Assistant Professor of U.S. history at the North American Department of the Insitute of English and American Studies at the University of Debrecen.

Beyond teaching at the University I regularly publish in the academic field of the History of North-America, Hungarian-American historical links and contacts, furthermore, I have translated several books of scholarly and popular nature alike.
